I’m Patrick, the filmmaker behind Art & Veil. I am a New Orleans native now based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. My approach to wedding cinematography is rooted in storytelling. Every wedding day holds dozens of quiet, meaningful moments, the subtle glance before the ceremony, the deep breath before vows, the laughter that echoes through a reception hall. These moments often pass quickly, but when carefully captured and thoughtfully edited, they become the emotional threads that tell the story of a couple’s day.
Rather than simply recording events as they unfold, I approach each wedding as a narrative. The goal is to craft a film that allows you to relive not just what happened, but how it felt.

Collaboration is essential. I work closely with photographers to ensure we are aligned, never competing for moments or disrupting the flow of the day. The goal is to create a seamless experience for you while both teams do their best work.
9. Can we choose the music for our film?
Music is carefully selected to support the story and emotion of your day. While direct song requests are limited due to licensing, your preferences and overall feel are always taken into consideration.
10. Have you worked at our venue before?
If I have, I’m familiar with the space and flow. If not, I approach every venue with preparation and adaptability to ensure everything is captured beautifully.
11. How long does it take to receive our film?
Films are delivered within 8 to 10 weeks. Each film is edited with care and intention, ensuring it reflects the quality and experience of your wedding.
12. How do we book you?
Booking is simple and straightforward.
Once your date is confirmed, a signed agreement and retainer officially secure your wedding. From there, I’ll guide you through the next steps to ensure everything is thoughtfully planned.

Coverage is tailored to your day. Most couples choose to begin during getting ready and continue through the major moments of the reception. I’m always happy to guide you based on your timeline and what matters most to you.
6. Do I need a second shooter?
A second shooter allows your story to be captured more completely and with greater nuance.
For larger weddings, separate getting ready locations, or timelines with overlapping moments, it ensures nothing is missed. If your photographer is bringing a second photographer, having a second videographer creates a seamless rhythm between both teams, with each partner’s experience documented at the same time.
This added coverage often results in a more dynamic and emotionally complete film. For smaller or more intimate days, a single filmmaker may be the perfect fit, and I’m always happy to help you decide.
